Purpose of the role:
As marketing copywriter, you will be responsible for delivering briefs for content and copy, in line with the Premier Inn brand guidelines and tone of voice. The briefs will be provided by stakeholders across the Commercial function including Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, Product & Propositions, External Comms, and CRM.
This role is part of the Design and Production studio within the Brand Marketing team. This role will be allocated briefs from the backlog by the Lead Designer and Brand and Marketing Designer. This role will collaborate with two other Marketing Copywriters (3 roles in total). The allocation of work will be structured by domain to build knowledge and ensure focus on key business priorities or channels e.g. Leisure, Business, and global expansion. The domain structure may evolve over time and will be dependent on business need and workload.
Minimum Skills/Experience Required:
- Expert ability to create compelling & persuasive content that resonates with Premier Inn customers & beyond, with evidence of experience across web copy, headlines, videos, ad copy, articles, merchandising copy & examples of how you have optimised copy to drive commercial, operational or brand impact.
- Conducting thorough market research, competitor analysis, and staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies, with examples of how this has been leveraged in your day-to-day work to drive more effective copywriting.
- Evidence of playing a supporting role in the development & evolution of brand Tone of Voice demonstrated through examples.
