Are you ready to lead a passionate kitchen team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment? We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to take the helm at The Globe, Christchurch, a welcoming Whitbread Inns pub that blends traditional charm with delicious, dependable pub classics.

Reporting into the General Manager, this isn’t just a job – it’s your opportunity to run a thriving kitchen, inspire and develop your team, and deliver the quality dishes that keep guests coming back time and time again.

If you’re an experienced Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or Catering Manager who thrives in a high‑volume setting, this is your chance to make a real impact. You’ll be hands-on, detail-driven, and passionate about food, people, and performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring your kitchen team
  • Managing stock, food margins, and kitchen standards
  • Owning food safety, audits, and compliance
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
  • Driving performance through coaching and regular 1:1s
  • Delivering consistent, high-quality dishes to spec
  • Working closely with a supportive General Manager who knows the operation inside out
